
Laura Del Prete is a passionate and experienced nonprofit leader with over 12 years of driving impactful programs in community health, disaster preparedness, food security, mental health, and disability services. She currently serves as the Farmer Mental Health Director for the Cultivemos program under the FRSAN-NE grant, where she combines her expertise in mental health and community engagement to support underserved agricultural communities. Laura’s leadership journey includes directing large-scale initiatives that served thousands, including pandemic food pantry operations, disaster preparedness coalitions, and youth development programs..
A first-generation college student and lifelong learner, Laura is pursuing a master’s degree in Adult Education and Curriculum Design, fueling her passion for creating accessible, inclusive learning environments. As a veteran’s spouse, Laura brings a deeply personal commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice. She thrives at the crossroads of creativity and strategy, using her background as an artist and nonprofit professional to design innovative programs and build lasting community partnerships.
