Community Threads Celebrates Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening

CLCL Foundation’s Community Threads Store proudly celebrated its official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening on February 20th, marking an exciting new chapter for our organization and the community we serve. The event brought together supporters, partners, volunteers, and neighbors for a joyful celebration of connection, creativity, and community impact.

The ceremony featured remarks from organizational leadership and community representatives, followed by the official ribbon-cutting that welcomed guests into the newly opened store. Attendees enjoyed tours of the space, opportunities to meet the team, and a first look at the wide selection of affordable, high‑quality items available to meet our communities’ needs.

Throughout the event, visitors learned more about the mission behind the Community Cares Pilot Program and the Community Threads Store—creating a welcoming, sustainable retail environment that offers dignity-centered access to community-donated resources. Guests also heard stories about how the store came together through collaboration, volunteer commitment, and generous donations. It is literally neighbors helping neighbors.

The Grand Opening was a meaningful celebration of gratitude and shared purpose. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, contributed, or supported the store’s launch. Your involvement helps ensure Community Threads continues to serve as a positive, accessible resource for our community.

The store is now officially open to the public, and we invite everyone to stop by, shop sustainably, donate to help others, and support the programs that CLCL Foundation makes possible. We are always seeking donations of goods, as well as financial and in-kind contributions.

Thank you for being part of this milestone—we look forward to welcoming you in the store soon!
