From Crisis to Stability
The TreeHouse Pathway
Youth typically stay at TreeHouse for 21 to 30 days, though the duration may vary based on individual needs and circumstances. Referrals come from various sources—schools, social workers, family members, or the youth themselves. Following a referral, an intake assessment helps determine eligibility and identifies the specific needs of each individual. This temporary stay acts as a bridge, guiding youth toward longer-term support and stability.

Your Pathway to Enrollment and Our Warm Welcome
Our process is designed to ensure each youth receives personalized care:
Clinical Review
Understanding the youth’s history and needs.
Psycho-Biological Evaluation
A thorough assessment of physical and mental health.
Documentation
Collecting the necessary paperwork for intake.
Needs Assessment
Addressing immediate needs like health, food, or mental health support.
Ensuring Access to
Support Through Eligibility and Appeals
We are committed to providing fair access to support for every young person who qualifies. While our eligibility criteria help ensure a safe and effective environment, we also offer a clear appeals process for those who need it, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to be reassessed and supported.
Who Can Join
Youth aged 10-17 under RHYA guidelines or 18-19 for young adults are welcome to apply, provided they meet basic eligibility requirements. While there are specific exclusions, such as certain criminal histories, the program is designed for those ready to embrace group living and participate actively in available support services.
Your Right to Appeal
For those who do not meet the criteria initially, a clear and supportive appeals process is in place. The executive team reviews decisions within 24-48 hours to ensure fairness and provide an opportunity to reassess individual circumstances.
