CLCL Foundation Launches Community Care Connection, a “Warm Line”

Toms River, NJ – April 23, 2025 – The CLCL Foundation is proud to announce the debut of its Community Care Connection (CCC) “Warm Line”, a groundbreaking initiative designed to connect individuals and families in Ocean and Monmouth Counties with essential resources and support. The CCC Line will officially launch on April 23, 2025, and operate Wednesday through Saturday, from 2 to 7 PM.

The CCC “Warm Line” is a free service that provides individuals and families with information on donation sites offering hard-to-locate items such as diapers, pet food, and household goods. This innovative program aims to uplift families experiencing poverty, prevent maltreatment allegations, and foster resilience within the community.

How the CCC Line Works: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

  • Phase 1: Individuals can refer themselves to donation sites for items they need.
  • Phase 2: The program will expand to include an on-site community donation center.
  • Phase 3: Families will be able to refer others in need, with items delivered anonymously.

Community members are encouraged to donate essential items to support local sites and contribute to CLCL’s efforts in building a sustainable system of replenishment and community care.

The CCC Line is part of CLCL Foundation’s broader mission to promote family wellbeing and resilience. By addressing critical needs, the CCC Line helps families navigate challenging times and strengthens community connections – all forms of protection and resiliency.
