This one-of-a-kind community-driven service allows community members to call and refer their neighbors, friends, and family for needed donations.
This unique service is important because over 70% of all Child Welfare reports are based on Neglect and over 80% of Neglect cases are based on Poverty.
The aim is to better connect families in need to the resources available and, in doing so, reduce poverty-based child maltreatment allegations. We will link individuals in need with essential resources by facilitating connections to donation sites. Through CLCL, callers seeking assistance for themselves or those in the community will be referred to the appropriate resources within Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
